Blue Star Mothers – Broken Arrow Chapter 5
Services: The main focus of the Broken Arrow Blue Star Mothers is to send Freedom Boxes to our troops serving abroad. These boxes are just a small way to say “thank you for your sacrifice and patriotism to our nation” and to let the troops know there will always be people back home thinking about them and praying for them.
Services: Helping meet the unmet needs of those men and women of America’s military who willingly put their lives on the line while serving to protect our nation from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Tulsa Veterans Treatment Court
Services Provided: The Veterans Treatment Court helps those who served our nation and who have been charged with a criminal offense and also struggle with drug and/or alcohol addictions, and/or mental health problems. Veterans Treatment Court is modeled after specialty drug courts, such as the one Community Service Council helped to create in Tulsa, which has proven to be effective in handling criminal cases of substance abusers, restoring lives and preventing future arrests.
